Two workshops - register for one or the other or both.
These workshops are suitable for those new to monoprinting with a gel plate as well as experienced printmakers who wish to expand their skillset in an atmosphere of exploration and discovery.
Sat. Sept 27 10am-4pm
The Fundamentals
Introducing gel printing basics - colour blending and gradations, creating textures, masks and stencils, the use of different viscosity paints, and registering multiple layers. No prior experience needed.
Sun. Sept 28 10am-4pm
Beyond the Basics
More advanced techniques, such as resist/transfer printing with a variety of methods including using laser prints of your own drawings or photographs. Some familiarity with the basics is recommended.

Payment is due in advance. Your spot is not confirmed until full payment is received.
Cancellation policy: Stuff happens. We totally understand that despite your best intentions, you may not be able to attend because life. If you cancel at least 4 days in advance of the workshop, we can give you a full refund. If you cancel within 4 days of the workshop, we will refund 75% of the fee.
Miscellaneous information: Masks of any kind are welcome, but not required. Masks are not provided. People may eat/drink at any time. This event takes place indoors. Due to the size of the space, social distancing will not be available. The workshop is limited to 8 participants. This location is wheelchair accessible; however, the bathroom is not. There is a sink for handwashing available on-site. Please bring your own hand sanitizer if you wish. Rapid-testing is not required before attending this event. Vaccinations are not required.
