Polymer Clay 3D with Patricia Sparks
Explore the versatility of polymer clay as a sculptural medium, using a serene coral reef scene as your canvas for technique-building. You'll work hands-on with conditioning and shaping methods to prepare the clay, then move into hand-building and surface techniques — sculpting fine coral branches, layering forms for underwater depth, and texturing with tools to mimic the organic surfaces found in nature.
Along the way, you'll learn core polymer clay skills you can carry into future projects: how to control consistency and pliability, build durable dimensional forms on a canvas base, and finish pieces so they cure cleanly and hold detail. No prior experience needed — just an interest in working with your hands.
You'll leave with a finished dimensional coral reef piece, plus a practical toolkit of polymer clay techniques ready for your next project.

If you cancel at least 4 days in advance of the workshop, we can give you a full refund. If you cancel within 4 days of the workshop, we will refund 75% of the fee.

She specializes in oil painting, resin art, mixed media, polymer clay sculpting, and alcohol inks. From large workshops and live demonstrations to private lessons, studio classes, paint parties, and live event painting, Patricia creates inspiring, hands-on experiences that encourage creativity and build confidence. Her goal is to help every student enjoy the creative process and leave with artwork they’re proud of. |
