Intro to Alcohol inks with Patricia Sparks
Ink meets alcohol, and something unpredictable happens — colors bloom, bleed into each other, and pool into patterns no brush could plan. This beginner-friendly workshop is your introduction to that chemistry. Tilt your tile, add a drop of alcohol, and watch pigment chase across the surface in real time; every tool you pick up, from straws to felt applicators, changes how the ink moves and where it settles.
There's no "wrong" here — the medium rewards curiosity over control, and some of the best effects come from happy accidents you couldn't have planned. By the end, you'll have a feel for how color, air, and alcohol interact, and the instinct to keep chasing interesting results rather than fighting for a specific outcome.

From large workshops and live demonstrations to private lessons, studio classes, paint parties, and live event painting, Patricia creates inspiring, hands-on experiences that encourage creativity and build confidence. Her goal is to help every student enjoy the creative process and leave with artwork they’re proud of. |
