Gel Printing Beyond the Basics with Jennifer Love
This workshop is for those who already understand the basics and want to move beyond the fundamentals of gelprinting to techniques like:
- resist/transfer printing using magazine pages, patterned wrapping paper, and laser prints of your own drawings or photographs
- combining multiple techniques and layers in a single-pull print
- adding extra colour before and after lifting the print, including reverse painting with acrylics, markers or Pan Pastels
Workshop cancellation policy: Stuff happens. We totally understand that despite your best intentions, you may not be able to attend because life. If you cancel at least 4 days in advance of the workshop, we can give you a full refund. If you cancel within 4 days of the workshop, we will refund 75% of the fee.

| Materials Included: | We will provide a wealth of textural materials, tools, stencils, stamps, acrylic paint and paper to try. |
| Requirements: | Students will need to bring at least one gel plate, either Gelli Arts or GelPress brand. If you have a different brand, it may not work with acrylic paint. Speedball is definitely not recommended for this class as they are made for ink, not acrylic paint. If you need to purchase a gel plate for the workshop, we are pleased to offer a 10% discount * High quality laser prints (Jennifer will email you about this and can have these printed for you) * Feel free to bring your favourite acrylic paints, paper and textural materials you would like to try. |
